Alex MacBride established Digital Remote Automation Motion Limited (DRAM Ltd) in 2013 as a limited company (Company number 08614772). Since then, the company has expanded its range of services and systems and has worked successfully with multiple clients in studio and on location within the UK and overseas.

Alex is committed to ensuring that DRAM Ltd provides services on time, to high standards and to the satisfaction of the client. Careful planning, preparation and communication with the client at all stages from initial brief to wrap is the key to this.
Alex’s career started in theatre lighting at Glasgow Mayfest 88. After gaining experience working in lighting in several British theatres, he moved to West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, where he became Chief Electrician in 1994. In 1997 Alex moved to working with Stage One Creative Services, using a range of lighting, sound and motion control technologies in different environments. Drawing on this experience, Alex is now enjoying the challenges of running his own successful company DRAM Ltd.
